Meet Pastor Tena
Pastor Tena Smith Gifford is the Founder and Senior Pastor of Family Life Church in Elizabeth, New Jersey, established in 2021 alongside her husband, Elder Seymour Gifford.
Called to ministry at the age of 15 and ordained in 2001, Pastor Tena has faithfully served in church leadership for more than two decades. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biblical Studies and certifications in Apostolic Mentoring and Prophetic Ministry.
In 2025, she founded Family Life Apostolic & Prophetic Online School (FLAPS), equipping believers and leaders through five-fold ministry training. She also expanded her global outreach with the launch of Family Life Church of Pakistan, continuing her passion for making disciples around the world.
A published author, business owner, and dedicated community servant, Pastor Tena is committed to restoring God's heart for the Church through love, grace, discipleship, and healthy leadership.
She is the devoted wife of Elder Seymour Gifford, the proud mother of four, and the joyful grandmother of three. Her family recently celebrated the arrival of twin grandchildren on July 19, bringing her total to three beloved grandchildren. Pastor Tena is also honored to serve as a spiritual mother and mentor to many, investing in lives through teaching, encouragement, and biblical discipleship.
