Pastor Tena Gifford
Founder & Senior Pastor, Family Life Church
Pastor Tena Gifford is the Founder and Senior Pastor of Family Life Church in Elizabeth, New Jersey, established in 2021. Called to ministry at the age of 15, she preached her trial sermon in 2001 at First Pentecostal Church of America, Inc. She was ordained as a Pastor in 2022 by Apostle Ricci J. Haulsy.
Pastor Tena has faithfully served in church leadership for more than two decades. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Studies, along with certifications in Apostolic Mentoring and Prophetic Ministry through Samuel Ellijah Prophetic School.
In 2025, she co-founded Family Life Apostolic & Prophetic School (FLAPS), an online school designed to equip believers and emerging leaders through five-fold ministry training. She also expanded Family Life Church’s global outreach through the establishment of Family Life Church of Pakistan in 2024, continuing her passion for making disciples and advancing the Kingdom of God around the world.
A published author with her first book Sequel to Salvation in 2015. A business owner, and dedicated community servant.
Pastor Tena is committed to restoring God’s heart for the Church through love, grace, discipleship, spiritual maturity, and healthy leadership.
Pastor Tena is the proud mother of four and the joyful grandmother of three. Her family celebrated the arrival of twin grandchildren on July 19, adding to the joy of her growing family. She is also honored to serve as a spiritual mother and mentor to many, investing in lives through teaching, encouragement, discipleship, and the Word of God.
